There are a mere hundred hectares of Glera vineyards, stretching out between the undulating landscapes San Pietro di Barbozza, Santo Stefano and Saccolworthy, worthy of the moniker Superiore di Cartizze. The soils here are mineral rich and marine, they vary considerably from sandstone to alluvial clays, all share a providence for yielding the world's most toothsome sparkling wine. Grapes are encouraged to ripen fully, harvested late in the season and vinified to the local Conegliano Valdobbiadene method.
 
Straw yellow hues, regal mousse. Rich floral notes of acacia and rose, golden delicious and pink grapefruit, oerfumed and suave. Well rounded palate, brimming with soft pastel characters, redolent with the freshness of fruit ripening in the orchard, creamyness, textural throughout, a wine of impeccable balance, generosity of flavour and extended length.

Parcels of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are all hand picked off superior vines. Fruit is chilled and whole bunch pressed, retaining only the finest free run juices and minimizing phenolics. Components are treated to a variety of vinification techniques for added complexity, structure and richness, malolactic ferments and long term maturation in seasoned French oak barriques. A course of regular, non-oxidative, lees stirring battonage is employed to develop luxurious mouthfeel and texture. An extravagant term of several years repose on yeast lees is followed by the traditional disgorgement, dosage and reseal.

One of the nation's most internationally feted marques in fortified wine. Tokay grapes are harvested late in the season to take advantage of fully developed fruit sugars and maximum ripeness. Generally, the vineyards situated on the slopes around Rutherglen tend to have a higher proportion of loam with the presence of stones, while the vineyards on the flat have a higher clay content. Rod (cane) and spur pruning on the vines with each vine having two rods with eight to ten buds on each. All the grapes at Rosewood are hand harvested, crushed and de stemmed directly into the press, juices are vinified until fortification with neutral grape spirit to arrest ferments between eighteen and nineteen percent alcohol. The high level of alcohol preserves natural fruit sugars and retains the luscious rich qualities of the harvest. Components are filled to a selection of well seasoned 500 Litres oak barrels for maturation.
 
Deep amber hues. Rich, sumptuous nose of molasses and brown sugar, minarets of spice and complex aromatic notes. A layered, effusive palate exhibiting amazing concentration of rum and raisin characters, evolved compote and candied dark fruits, coffe and cocoa oak, a marvelous rancio richness resolves on a lingering, seemingly endless, heady finish.
